We've gathered a few friends together for Sunday to help celebrate the launch of Hil's book "A Story Of Seven Summers". It's in the "little Champagne of Tasmania" at the end of Pipers River Road in the vineyard at Jansz. There will be bubbles of course. Maxine, Louise, Kate and Fiona are helping to cook up an afternoon tea storm for the day using suitable recipes featured in the book. Billee's Sponge Cake is starring, made from Lyndy's organic free range eggs (with thanks to her silkie Rusty who laid especially for the day). Have you ever seen a more pearly eggshell, or a sunnier yolk? Hil hopes Billee will approve on the day, while Barn is just dictating exactly how much icing sugar should get spooned into the cream for filling... You can find the recipe for yourself in "A Story Of Seven Summers" (in all good bookstores and online). We hope you'll recommend it.
PS. If you're in Launceston on September 14th, come and meet Hil at an Author's Talk at Fullers Bookshop or in Hobart at Fullers Bookshop on September 20th.
