Cornucopia

Fresh ears of corn (why ears not heads or fingers?) filled hilbarn boxes this week, picked Sunday morning by growers Liz and Michael in Lebrina. Happily the corn survived a savage wallaby raid on their farm last week - not so the beans...

Glad the corn survived. Having said that, it would have been a very scary wallaby to have reached the corn. Am loving this wekk's veg as always. I don't know how you guys manage to get such variety every week, but it's fab, keep it up. We have never eaten so well as I try out exotic new recipes to eat up all that amazing veg before the next installment. The kids get excited about the veg 'lucky dip' and Monday night get to eat up all their favourites!
