Beetroot Chocolate Cake

Inspired by hilbarn box customer Isis and her beetroot chocolate cake recipe (see comments on "Beet It" below), we tested the recipe (left). The colours of its cooking are only surpassed by the taste itself!

What we provide

We offer $25 and $50 fruit and vegetable boxes packed with local and seasonal produce. Box contents are harvested freshly and/or collected directly by hilbarn each weekend, then packed and delivered on Mondays and Tuesdays (before 2pm) for weekly or fortnightly orders. Delivery is free to the Pick Up Points listed below. Home delivery is an extra $5.
To obtain a subscription form for Hilbarn Fresh Produce, email Hil & Barn at hilbarn@bigpond.com.

Orders need to be placed by 9pm each Wednesday for the following Monday morning delivery. We look forward to sharing the delights of fresh regional produce with you.

How We Work

- We provide absolutely the freshest local produce available to us.

- All our produce is sourced from local growers.

- Your produce order is carefully packed into your $25 or $50 family size box.

- Cash payment at the time of delivery is limited to your first two deliveries so you can first sample the delights of fresh local produce.

- After sampling, the minimum subscription is 4 boxes. This way we can source the best produce for you in advance of your delivery.

- We will share new Pick-Up Points with you as they become available. See 'What We Provide' (above) for current Pick-Up Points.

- Each delivery includes a box (please return your box for recycling).
- Once you have subscribed, delivery will begin after payment is received.

- Produce is delivered either weekly or fortnightly after subscribing.

- Box contents cannot be customized.

- No refunds are available for subscriptions.

- A credit may be provided in the case of an incorrect delivery.
